Jaxonite biscuit barrel

A round biscuit barrel with a silver coloured metal trim to the base, silver coloured metal handle and a silver coloured metal knob to the lid. The base colour of the Jaxonite barrel is black, the outer surfaces have a brown mottling, as has the inner surface of the base. The metal trim has a simple beaded design. The registered design number on the base indicates that it was designed and probably also made circa 1906.
