Casino token

Description

A cream coloured casino token/gaming chip for Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, a small coastal town near Calais, in northern France. Cream coloured and lined to simulate ivory, it is made from cellulose nitrate and dates post WWI. It has 'Le Touquet-Paris-Plage', 'casinos' and the number '5' (denoting francs) moulded into the top face and the letters 'CF' on the reverse, possibly locating it to the Casino de la Foret (Forest Casino).
