Description
A pair of lock-on mountain bike handle grips from Bontrager, with a textured rubber surface over an internal nylon plastic core, made from recycled end-of-life fishing nets. Manufactured in partnership with Plastix, a Danish plastics collection and recycling company that specialises in turning maritime plastic waste into new products. The XR Trail Comp grip features a unique finned textured pattern that conforms to the hand for supportive grip and comfort, and a lightweight nylon CoreLock clamp to hold the grip securely in place. The Bontrager brand is owned by the Trek Bicycle Corporation, a founding member of NextWave, a consortium of companies committed to keeping plastic waste in the economic cycle and developing viable operational supply chains to integrate non-virgin plastics materials into products and packaging.
