Description
A black coloured, ladies vulcanite pocket comb and accompanying fabric covered case with inset mirror. Compression moulded and dating to the mid 19th-early 20th century, 'Best Vulcanite' is stamped on the raised rib of the comb head. Machine cut, two combs would be produced simultaneously, one cut from the spaces of the teeth of the other.
