Braun RSK 1005 Roundstyler

Description

A white coloured Braun RSK 1005 Roundstyler cool curl. Type 4522, designed by Robert Oberheim in 1982 and made in Germany. In 1977 Braun introduced a two-in-one hairdryer that could style at the same time as drying by the selection of a range of attachable brushes. The RS 60/65, designed by Haase, had an air intake at the rear of the appliance with the power cord underneath. The RS 67 K (see AIBDC : 009147) was similar but through designing a graduated, circular air intake at the end, Haase was able to incorporate the power cord through the middle for a sleeker appearance. The RSK 1005 further developed the design by simplifying the graduated air intake and adding sensor technology to protect the user as the appliance operated at 1000W for fast drying with three temperature selections plus a 'cool curl' option. Originally sold with a five part accessory brush set in a practical carry case, these are missing with this example.
