Braun P 1000 hairdryer

A Braun P 1000 silencio hairdryer. Injection moulded in grey coloured acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this compact hairdryer has an ergonomic, slanted handle, model 4588. Designed in 1988 by Robert Oberheim, the silencio range was first introduced in 1982 (see AIBDC : 009135) as a new, quieter hairdryer that operated at higher performance levels. It has a flat air intake opposite the blowing function and one operational switch on the handle providing both the power and two speed control. A grooved design moulded into the back of the handle provides improved grip. Manufacturing details moulded onto the front of the handle include the warning 'do not take into bathroom'.
