Explanation of sample instrument box

A handwritten note giving the dates of making, the choice of materials and construction method, and the possible applications for a sample instrument box. The box was made by Herbert Norman in 1941 and submitted to the Ministry of Munitions technicians for consideration. It is not known who the author of the handwritten note was.
