Lloyds high intensity lamp

Description

This Lloyds high intensity lamp, model NA-101, was designed in 1966 and made in Japan. A metal, telescopic arm allows the bulb section to extend upwards to the desired height and it also rotates around 360 degrees for directional lighting, folding back down into a compact shape for storage. The base and light sections are injection moulded in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, with the latter also containing a ring of transluscent acrylic around the bulb to diffuse the light. Lightweight for maneuverability, it is powered by mains electricity and has a high and low setting. The lamp measures 190mm in height when closed.
