Rexite Multiplor rotating desk organiser

A red coloured rotating desk organiser designed by Rino Pirovano in 1977 for Rexite. Injection moulded in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), there are four trays attached to a small steel pole so that they can each rotate outwards, allowing compact storage. The bottom is weighted for stability and the lid is missing in this example. Rexite was founded in 1968 in Milan, Italy, by Rino Pirovano and Rino Boschet, at first designing small desk accessories, baskets, coat hangers, tables, chairs and modular storage systems. The company collaborated with a number of influential designers including Enzo Mari and Bruno Munari and won several design awards over the years.
