Description

A trinket box made from compression moulded shellac. The lid has a central quatrefoil moulding containing an image of two nesting birds with acanthus leaves to the sides and below. The four inner quarters are decorated with scrolling foliage and and the outer corners have a fleur-de-lis motif. The base of the box is undecorated.
