Small bowl from Bakelite Tyseley works

A small, mottled light brown bowl made by Bakelite Limited at the Tyseley works, Birmingham, possibly as a demonstration piece, from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde. The factory at Tyseley, Birmingham was opened in 1928. The Bakelite trefoil trade mark and company details are moulded on the base.
