Description
A blue coloured reusable and recyclable Corretto (TM) beaker made by Bockatech from EcoCore. EcoCore is a material that has a solid outer and inner skin with a foamed centre. Compared to thin wall plastic mouldings EcoCore offers improved thermal insulation, greater resistance to buckling and greater impact resistance. By comparison to similar products, EcoCore uses less material and therefore has a lower environmental impact. It is made from injection moulded food safe polypropylene which is widely recycled. This example has a smooth surface on the outer skin and has a sampleVerstraete in mould label on the outside. The term 'in mould labelling' refers to the technique whereby a preprinted polypropylene label is placed in the mould prior to the injection moulding process. Object and label fuse during the curing process to become one.
