Description

A short candle holder for a single candle, made from compression moulded urea formaldehyde in hues of red orange and green, circa late 1920s. The material from which it is made resembles Bandalasta, but it is unmarked. Made in two parts, the base and bowl screw together at the centre point. The base has a brass insert moulded screw and the bowl has a screw thread moulded into the urea formaldehyde.
