Description

A transtibial (below knee) prosthesis with carbon fibre composite socket, titanium shin tube and silicone foot, made by Dorset Orthopaedic. The pre-preg socket is first manufactured and attached to the shin tube which is, in turn, attached to a standard, dense foam, prosthetic foot. Layers of silicone are then built up over the foot to provide colour and detail - all sculpted by hand.
