A set of typed lecture notes on eight pages, written by A.H.Woodfull, entitled 'Modern Industrial Design: A relationship between art and technology'. It was written for delivery to the Royal College of Art in November 1959. Topics included are: Theories of modern design; design functionality; truth to materials; designing in plastics materials; mass production & economics; designing for obsolescence. Also included is a list of the 20 slides used to illustrate the lecture.
