Description

A Big Ears character doll made from rigid polystyrene, with a painted face and textile garments which have been stuck to the torso and head. The separate components of the doll are joined together by a simple hook ad loop system. The character was a creation of English author, Enid Blyton, in the Noddy series of books and first appeared in 1949. This example is thought to date from the late 1950s or early 1960s
