Description
A medical 5ml syringe which is designed to autodisable after use, thus preventing the possibility of the medical transmission of blood bourne diseases by the reuse of contaminated needles. Invented by Marc Andrew Koska in 2001. Both syringe and plunger are made from medial grade injection moulded polypropylene. It was made under licence by Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd. circa 2011. Measurement given is for syringe before the plunger is fully depressed. This example is complete with its packaging.
