A Model H1 hair dryer made by Morphy Richards and purchased by the donor's grandfather for 54/6d in 1955 as a Christmas gift for his wife. The hairdryer is operated by a double switch locaced on the inner side of the handle. The black switch operates the motor and fan and the red switch the heater. The case of the hairdryer is made from cream compression moulded urea formaldehyde and is complete with original 2-pin plug, instructions, guarantee card and end panel of the original box. The box although contemporary, is not original. The cable has been replaced at some point.
