Description

A group of three tokens from a collection of nine cellulose acetete British Restaurant tokens, three of which are cream coloured and engraved 'Child', three are engraved 'Beverage' and are black in colour, and three brown tokens engraved 'Sweet'. All are additionaly engraved with the initials M.C. Each token has a central hole of 4mm diameter. These tokens were used to signify the purchase of an affordable, nutritious meal during the Second World War.
