Description

A box containing four plates, two large food containers, two small food containers, two vacuum flasks and four beakers. The stacking plates have two sections, one for food and the other to hold one of the rounded triangular form beakers. The vacuum flasks are of the same rounded triangular form. The large food containers are rectangular, the two smaller food containers are square. All have push on lids. The lid of the box is secured in place by a textile strap/carrying handle which has a clip on one side that grips the strap as you lift the handle. The whole set is in shades of cream, green and orange. Designed by Bernadotte and Bjorn in 1959, this picnic set, entitled Taffel, was produced by Huysqvarna Borstfabrik of Sweden.
