Description

A celluloid high back comb, coloured to simulate tortoiseshell, c. 1920s. The header of the comb is of simple design being a large rectangle curved to the contours of the head, and decorated on the top edge with three rows of small, flat circles of the same material. The comb is stamped Auguste Bonaz on the reverse and with a dollar sign within a diamond, probably indicating that it was destined for the American market.
