Description

A 1930s rectangular powder box made from green coloured imitation shagreen (shark skin) Xylonite, probably by the British Xylonite Co. The box has a two part lid set with a diamond form knob of the same material and four angular mouldings set below each corner as feet. This box is part of a set which comprises brush, mirror, boxes and a tray.
