Classification
Description
A barrel shaped biscuit container made from compression moulded light green urea formaldehyde with a hand painted illustration on the side and lid. The metal handle is rivetted in place and the black knob of the lid screws into place with a metal screw. The illustration is of a crinoline lady set against a floral boarder, which is also echoed on the lid. Produced by Mendle Brothers of Glamorgan, circa 1940s.
