A red, conical Melaware salt pot with a screw in base made from compression moulded melamine formaldehyde, circa 1960s. Melaware is a brand of items made of melamine formaldehyde by Ranton and Co. Melaware was popular during the 50s and 60s for its bright colours and 'unbreakable' quality.
