Description

A 525mm long chain comprising 30 figure of eight links and a large hook attached to the end link by a single round link. The chain is light in weight but is typical of the heavy Victorian mourning jewellery made of hard or vulcanised rubber, also known as Ebonite. It is compression moulded and thought to date from the second half of the nineteenth century.
