Description

A disc of blue green and red mottled Parkesine (cellulose nitrate) with a moulded design of concetric circles of lines, wavy lines, crossing lines, and dots. Parkesine is the tradename for the first man-made plastic, which was invented by Alexander Parkes in 1862. This example has some white deposits on the surface.
