Description

The Polaroid SX-70 Sonar One Step camera was issued c. 1978 by the Polaroid Corporation. It is equipped with a Sonar Auto Focus system and was the first autofocus SLR camera available to the consumer. The camera has a metal frame and soft rubberised bellows. The Sonar Auto Focus system is housed in a polypropylene casing above the lens.
