Description

A string of 32 lights made from the cut off bases of discarded PET drinks bottles set onto LED bulbs. The translucent blue, green and clear bottle bottoms form petal like shades to each bulb. Designed and made by Michelle Brand, an Environmental Designer specialising in Up Cycling (www.michellebrand.co.uk), this set of lights was included in 'Lifecycle. Poetry + products' a collaborative exhibition between MoDiP and Text + Work at The Gallery at the Arts University Bournemouth in 2009.
