Description

A mottled, brown, compression moulded, phenol formaldehyde bowl manufactured by Seaforth. The bowl has simple geometric horizontal and vertical banding on the outer surface. The vertical banding is in three, triangulated sections which taper towards the base of the bowl forming three feet on which it stands. The inner surface of the bowl has a slight uneven bubbled texture. There is some old damage to the bowl in the form of a 30mm crack which radiates down from the upper rim.
