Description

A small pocket magnifying glass, with a folding handle, contained in a leatherette pouch which is stamped with a gold emblem for Scarborough and produced for the tourist market circa 1930s. The handle is attached to the frame of the lens by means of a brass spindle on which the handle pivots. The tortoiseshell effect lens frame has been damaged and repaired.
