SixSixOne Ankle Biters

A packaged pair of Ankle Biters used by Downhill cyclists to protect the ankle bone from knocks. These Ankle Biters, dating from the 2000s, provide support and protection that can be used in any brand of shoe. The base fits inside the shoe underneath the original insole. The Ankle Biter's base can be trimmed to fit the shoe. The hook and loop, velcro, front closure provides an accurate secure fit. The ventilated neoprene strap provides some ankle support and protection as well as keeping dirt out of the shoe. The moulded plastic cups help to protect the ankle bone.
