Description

A Sqezy brand dishwashing soap bottle, circa 1970, manufactured by BXL Cascelloid Division. Blow moulded in high density polyethylene, this example carries the dual pricing of pounds, shillings, and pence and the decimal currency adopted by the UK in 1971. For some months prior to decimalisation many products were priced in this way to soften the impact of a sudden change to a new system.
