A chair made from clear extruded plastic woven by hand and on demand, resulting in each chair being different. It thus reverses the normal practice associated with extrusion of machine directed mass-production leading to identical products. The plastic is Eastman Provista, a copolymer PETG copolyester, developed specifically for products requiring high clarity and gloss coupled with design flexibility. The material was chosen for its rugged yet delicate look and environmental consciousness; it is non-toxic and can easily be recycled. This chair was first made in 2006, this example dates from 2007.
