Description

A set of Bandalasta picnicware with 4 plates and 3 cups. Bandalasta was the name given to a series of plastic wares made by Brookes & Adams from a synthetic resin discovered and developed by British Chemists in the 1920s. The classic Bandalasta marble effect was produced manually by scattering coloured moulding granules onto granules of the base colour, usually cream, before closing the mould. The dimensions below refer to the cup, the plate is 165mm in diameter.
