A skein of pink coloured artificial silk, used for sewing repairs such as mending stockings. Wound on the original sales card which reads: The 'Beautigloss' 20 yds. Shade: yad. Artificial silk. Mending. Made in England. Dated to the 1920s, the measurements given are for the dimensions of the card.
