Richard Sapper 9091 kettle

Description

This kettle was designed by Richard Sapper for Alessi in the 1980s. It is made from stainless steel and has a brass whistle, copper bottom and black polyamide handle. The whistle contains pitched notes E and B which sound in a harmonica when steam passes through. The design was inspired by the steamers and barges which travel along the River Rhine.
