Connevans SO4 cassette recorder

Description

A portable 'Connevans SO4' tape recorder with rectangular case, carrying strap and headphones. It uses small spools or reels of tape and the instructions are pasted to the inside of the lid. It was manufactured by Connevans Limited, an independent family run company established in November 1961 specialising in meeting the needs of people who are deaf or have hearing impaired. This model dates from circa1970s and is made of vacuum formed polystyrene with radio frequency welded PVC headphones, compression moulded phenol formaldehyde knobs and a leather case.
