Brass buckle

Description

A brass belt buckle with inset turquoise blue rectangular 'stones' and a black coloured centre vertical 'stone' where the two halves join. The 'stones' are thought to be made from casein formaldehyde and are held in place with brass claws. Circa early 20th century. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
