Pale brown egg cup

One of a set of four egg cups manufactured by Borough Polytechnic, circa 1960s. These egg cups were a test piece made of injection moulded polystyrene with some foaming agent and consist of two hollow cavities end to end, one for the eggs and one for the base. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
