Eames Elephant

A small scale elephant originally designed in 1945 by Charles and Ray Eames as a child's ride on toy. It was first made in plywood but was never put into mass production. It has more recently become available in this polypropylene version. The elephant is made in two parts, the head and the body, which are joined together at the back of the neck with a metal bolt. This 2012 example is complete with illustrated box.
